The Client
Value Plus Distributor, based in California, is a high-volume B2B wholesale distributor specializing in general merchandise, household essentials, personal care, baby care, and convenience products. Serving regional retailers, grocers, and commercial merchants, the company manages an extensive catalog spanning thousands of fast-moving consumer SKUs.
The Challenge
Value Plus was running on a legacy Sage accounting system supplemented by manual phone, email, and paper order taking. With a rapidly expanding catalog, the business struggled to keep multi-warehouse inventory accurate, had little real-time visibility into product gross margins, and faced constant pricing discrepancies and catalog synchronization bottlenecks.
What We Built
DFW IT Partner implemented an end-to-end Odoo ERP solution tailored for wholesale distribution, including Odoo Inventory/WMS, Sales, Invoicing, and Accounting. We also deployed a modern, user-friendly Odoo B2B eCommerce ordering portal where wholesale customers can browse products by category, search by SKU, and submit bulk orders directly into Odoo.
The Result
The new Odoo platform streamlined Value Plus Distributor's entire fulfillment pipeline. Manual order entry errors were eliminated as retail clients transitioned to the self-service B2B portal, warehouse teams gained live multi-location stock visibility, and management achieved real-time visibility into margin profitability across every order and product line.
