Choose actual costing from logged time and real rates, standard costing from planned operation time, or materials only. A setting can always use BOM operation time for COGS to prevent inflated costs from forgotten timers.

What is Manuflow?
Manuflow is DFW IT Partner’s Odoo-based manufacturing application. It combines Odoo Manufacturing, Inventory, Quality, Maintenance, PLM and Accounting with our accelerators for manufacturing batches, costing controls, correctable manufacturing orders, product holds, engineering-change approvals and warehouse dashboards.
Is Odoo a good ERP for manufacturing companies?
Yes for discrete and make-to-order manufacturers. Odoo covers bills of materials, work orders, shop floor, quality, maintenance, PLM, purchasing, inventory and accounting in one database. Manuflow adds the controls many manufacturers ask for on top, and we configure it around your routings and work centers.
Can Manuflow track lots and serial numbers through production?
Yes. Odoo’s lot and serial tracking runs from supplier receipt through manufacturing to shipment, with traceability reports. Manuflow product holds can block build, ship or purchase for a specific lot until a manager releases it.
How does Manuflow handle manufacturing costing and WIP?
You can cost finished goods from actual time and rates, standard planned operation time, or materials only, and you can force BOM operation time for COGS. Reset to Draft reverses inventory, WIP and labor entries through an unbuild when a completed order must be corrected.
Can Manuflow control engineering changes?
Yes. Odoo PLM provides engineering change orders, and Manuflow adds a one-approval-required stage rule plus a product approval workflow so new products only appear in sales, purchase and manufacturing once approved.
Does Manuflow work with barcode scanners on the shop floor?
Yes. Odoo Barcode supports receiving, transfers, picking and counts on scanners, tablets and phones, and Odoo’s Shop Floor interface supports work orders, timers, component consumption and scrap reporting. Manuflow adds concurrent cycle counting.
Can Manuflow replace QuickBooks and spreadsheets for a growing manufacturer?
Yes. We migrate customers, vendors, products, BOMs, inventory, open orders and accounting balances and implement manufacturing, inventory and accounting together so production cost flows straight into the ledger.
How is Manuflow different from Engivo?
