Can Odoo manage contractors and subcontractors?
Yes. Odoo Project, Purchase, Timesheets, Expenses and Accounting cover the work and payment side. Contrivo adds the contractor database, onboarding, vendor tiers, scoring, location search, document expiration alerts and a contractor portal that standard Odoo does not provide.
How does Contrivo track insurance and license expiration?
Documents can be attached to contractors, contacts and locations with expiration dates. Scheduled actions monitor those dates and send alerts so renewals can be requested before they lapse.
Can I find contractors near a job site?
Yes. Contractor locations and job locations are geocoded, and a search-by-location wizard finds contractors within a radius of the address you enter, so you can shortlist nearby vendors quickly.
Do contractors get a portal?
Yes. Contractors and their contacts can manage their profiles and documents and view and update assigned tasks through the Odoo portal. Portal access can be granted in bulk to flagged contacts, and invitations let contractors onboard themselves.
