The Client
Golf Carts Modified, based in Utah, is a premier provider of custom golf cart modifications, high-performance parts, and accessories. Specializing in high-voltage lithium battery conversions (76V/105Ah performance packs), custom lift kits, AC powertrain upgrades, and custom wheel and tire packages, the company caters to golf cart enthusiasts, commercial fleets, and dealer partners across the United States.
The Challenge
As direct-to-consumer and dealer sales surged through their Shopify online store, Golf Carts Modified struggled with distribution logistics and disconnected accounting. High-value battery packs and oversized custom parts required complex dropship routing from manufacturing partners, while inventory counts and sales receipts in Shopify had to be manually re-entered into separate accounting software, creating inventory discrepancies and delayed financial reports.
What We Built
DFW IT Partner implemented an integrated Odoo ERP backbone covering Accounting, Sales, Inventory, and Purchasing. We built a bi-directional integration with Shopify to synchronize orders, customers, and stock levels in real time. We also configured automated dropshipping workflows in Odoo, instantly generating and transmitting dropship purchase orders to suppliers whenever specialty lithium battery bundles or custom components are purchased.
The Result
Golf Carts Modified gained a fully synchronized operational hub. Online Shopify sales now trigger automated vendor dropships and inventory deductions without manual intervention, multi-channel stock levels update instantly, and executive management has live, accurate financial reporting and profit margin visibility across all parts and custom performance packages.
